Power Delivery Chargers

All the different smartphones and laptops we use to connect with each other (and the world) have one thing in common. They need a fast-charging battery that keeps them working for us. If your device supports Power Delivery charging, a PD Charger will deliver more power and charge it fast.

What is a PD Charger?

A Power Delivery (PD) Charger is a high-performance charger that can give PD-compatible devices significantly more power based on their needs. When a PD-capable device connects to a PD charger, they “negotiate” the highest amount of power the charger can provide to the device at the rate it can handle. To take advantage of USB PD charging, make sure your device and charger support it. The good news is that lots of newer USB devices support PD, so one PD charger can give power to more of your devices fast.

USB C Wall Charger — make sure it’s a PD charger

A USB C wall charger plugs directly into a power outlet in a wall to power devices through at least one USB-C port or connector. Oftentimes, they offer a mix of USB ports and connectors (usually USB-A and USB-C) and different power capabilities (PD charging, Quick Charge [QC] or fast-charging).

PD Wall Charger

Our PD Wall Charger with Built-in USB-C Cable offers power up to 60 W to a PD-capable device through the integrated USB-C cable. This design is handy since it helps you avoid misplacing your cable when you need it to charge your device. It also gives you a 12 W USB-A port to charge another one

For a USB-C Wall Charger with the same power ability through its USB-C and USB-A ports and without the built-in USB-C cable, check out our standard PD Wall Charger.

If you like to travel, be sure to check out our PD Wall Charger and Travel Adapter. It works in most countries, and it has adapter plugs you can slide out to fit the region you're in.

It comes with one 45 W PD port that can charge a notebook, MacBook®, Chromebook™ or Ultrabook™. It can also fast-charge three devices with its USB-A ports delivering up to 2.4 A at 5 V total. Even better, it comes with a universal power outlet to replace the socket it's plugged into.

Just note that this adapter is not a voltage converter. Make sure your device has dual voltage (i.e., it says "110V–220V" or "100-240V" on the device label).

PD Charging Station — More Flexibility

PD Charging Stations

A Power Delivery Charging Station is designed to fast-charge more devices than a PD Wall Charger. Most Charging Stations offer more charging output and connect to a power outlet through a power cord. This design is ideal for use at a computer, workstation or even a busy kitchen counter since the cord lets you place the charging station where it's right for your setup.

Be sure to check out our 90 W PD Charging Station. It has two higher-wattage USB-C PD charging ports and comes with a stand so it can sit upright and take up less space.

GaN Charger — our PD charger that packs the power and efficiency

Gallium nitride (GaN) is a semiconductor that can process more electricity with greater efficiency than silicon, the widely used material. Less energy is also lost as heat when power moves through GaN. With less heat, more of the components that process power can work closer to each other. GaN tech allows chargers to be more compact while letting great power flow to your device.

Our 65 W USB C Charger is a GaN Charger. As a PD charger with a higher-wattage output, it will charge your device noticeably faster than standard chargers. In addition to the faster charging from PD, GaN tech wastes less energy as it works.

PD Car Charger – Charge on the Go

PD Car Charger

PD chargers can also charge devices in the car. These car chargers pack lots of power ability into a small form. Our 78 W 2-Port Power Delivery Car Charger offers one 60 W USB-C PD 3.0 port and one 18 W USB-A QC 3.0 port, both of which provide faster, safer, more intelligent charging with your device.

It's more convenient, too, since you can charge a larger device such as laptop or tablet using your vehicle's auxiliary power socket (cigarette lighter) while you drive.

Manhattan PD Chargers make it easier to get power back into your devices fast, wherever you are. Shop our Power Delivery line for even more options, including adapters, converters, hubs and UVC charging cabinets.
